She played Carrie Heffernan on the long-running CBS comedy series The King of Queens (1998–2007) and Lara Campbell in the film Old School, as well as co-hosting The Talk in 2010–11. She is currently involved in and hosting the Emmy Award–winning documentary series Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath. She is portrayed as Stacey Carosi.
Raised a Scientologist, she publicly split with the church in 2012, and has since become an activist in speaking out against its abusive and illegal practices.
