Summary
Zack falls for a girl who works at the mall, but is unaware that she is homeless. Discovering the truth, Zack takes a vow of voluntary poverty, selling his possessions and distributing the proceeds to urban debt relief agencies. After being woken for the third time by a defecating crack addict, however, he realizes how hollow is his bourgeois pretence of poverty, and throws himself into the river.
